- Develop patent portfolios and IP strategies for emerging technology domains
- Present strategic technology briefings to board members and external investors
- Establish innovation KPIs and track adoption of future-facing technologies
- Manage $5M+ annual innovation budget with ROI-focused allocation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Innovation Management; PhD preferred
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech domains
- Proven track record of launching AI/quantum/biotech initiatives with measurable impact
- Expertise in technology forecasting frameworks (e.g., Delphi method, scenario planning)
- Strong executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite and boards
- Certifications in AI Ethics, Quantum Computing, or Biotech Innovation
- Portfolio of executed technology transformation projects with $10M+ budgets
