Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps for 2026+ initiatives across AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions with venture capital partners
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with transformative potential
- Shape patent strategies and IP portfolios for disruptive innovations
- Present strategic vision to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets for experimental projects
- Foster partnerships with academic institutions and government labs
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics
- 8+ years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 or unicorn startups
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in systems thinking and scenario planning methodologies
- Deep understanding of quantum computing, AGI development, or climate tech
- Published research in IEEE/Nature or equivalent tier journals
- Experience leading international R&D teams across 3+ continents
- Fluency in technology forecasting frameworks (e.g., Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
