Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints prototyping next-gen solutions (AR/VR, decentralized systems)
- Conduct horizon-scanning research identifying disruptive technologies with 2026 market impact
- Partner with C-suite to translate strategic vision into actionable R&D priorities
- Present findings to investors and boards through compelling data visualizations
- Mentor junior strategists in emerging technology assessment methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech planning with Fortune 500 or hypergrowth startups
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, biotech, Web3)
- Proven track record of launching products with $50M+ ARR
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Strategy
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight (e.g., CFTE)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful tech innovation initiatives
- Experience with patent strategy and IP commercialization
