Responsibilities
- Architect long-term technology roadmaps targeting 2026+ innovation horizons
- Lead cross-functional teams to integrate emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech) into core products
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify disruptive trends with 5-10 year impact
- Develop patentable frameworks for next-gen human-machine interaction systems
- Present strategic technology briefings to executive leadership and board members
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Establish ethical governance protocols for autonomous systems and AI deployment
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with proven 2025+ vision
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, or synthetic biology)
- Published thought leadership in IEEE Nature or similar tier-1 publications
- Experience scaling technology roadmaps from concept to $100M+ revenue impact
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics (PhD preferred)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful commercialization of futuristic technologies
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
