Responsibilities
- Lead research and analysis of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their market impact by 2026
- Develop strategic technology roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives and market trends
- Identify and evaluate disruptive startups, partnerships, and acquisition targets for innovation portfolio
- Present technology insights and recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Drive cross-functional initiatives to integrate future technologies into current product ecosystems
- Establish KPIs to measure innovation effectiveness and ROI for future-focused projects
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching successful future-oriented products or services
- Expertise in at least three emerging technology domains (AI/ML, blockchain, IoT, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts into business strategy
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and investors on technology trends
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Certification in innovation management or strategic technology planning preferred
