Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and organizational goals
- Lead research initiatives in emerging fields including quantum algorithms, neuromorphic computing, and biointegration
- Collaborate with product teams to define next-gen user experiences for 2026 digital platforms
- Analyze competitive landscapes and identify disruptive technologies with strategic acquisition potential
- Present technology forecasts to executive stakeholders and investment committees
- Mentor R&D teams in agile methodologies and rapid prototyping for future-facing solutions
- Establish ethical frameworks for responsible AI deployment and autonomous systems
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- 8+ years experience in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record in launching innovative tech products with $50M+ revenue impact
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging technology domains (AI, quantum, blockchain, etc.)
- Exceptional data modeling skills with proficiency in forecasting tools like Tableau or Power BI
- Strong background in sustainable technology and circular economy principles
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Technology Innovation Management (e.g., Wharton Tech MBA)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry white papers
