Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with emerging market trends and geopolitical shifts
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams in prototyping quantum-AI hybrid systems
- Advise C-suite on ethical AI governance and regulatory compliance frameworks
- Establish partnerships with DARPA, NASA, and global research institutions
- Secure $50M+ in federal innovation grants for future-tech initiatives
- Present strategic briefings to congressional technology committees
- Oversee development of carbon-negative blockchain infrastructure
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years in strategic tech planning with Fortune 500 companies
- Published research in Nature/Science on emerging technologies
- Expertise in quantum machine learning and neuromorphic computing
- Security clearance (or ability to obtain Top Secret clearance)
- Proven track record of scaling technology from lab to market
- Proficiency in futures forecasting methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Experience with US federal innovation grant processes
