Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 technology roadmaps across AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen systems with 3+ year development horizons
- Analyze emerging trends (post-quantum security, neuromorphic chips, synthetic biology) for strategic integration
- Secure $10M+ in R&D funding through government grants and private partnerships
- Present strategic visions to C-suite executives and board of directors quarterly
- Mentor senior engineers on future-proof architecture principles
- Author thought leadership publications in IEEE Nature Technology Review
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Quantum Engineering, or Systems Architecture
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 or unicorn startups
- Published research in quantum computing or AI ethics (IEEE/ACM preferred)
- Proven track record of scaling technology initiatives from concept to market
- Expertise in scenario planning for technological singularity events
- Certification in Technology Foresight (APF or equivalent)
- Experience securing federal SBIR/STTR grants for emerging tech
- Portfolio of implemented future-tech projects with 5+ year impact
