Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies and societal trends impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop strategic roadmaps for integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology into commercial applications
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops to align organizational vision with future scenarios
- Author white papers and thought leadership on ethical AI governance and sustainable innovation
- Prototype future-proof solutions using rapid iteration methodologies and emerging tech stacks
- Analyze geopolitical and economic signals to mitigate disruption risks for enterprise clients
- Mentor cross-functional teams in futures-thinking methodologies and speculative design practices
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, consulting, or R&D leadership with proven impact on future-oriented initiatives
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI ethics, neurotech, etc.)
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to model complex, interconnected variables
- Published thought leadership in futures studies or technology foresight
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Policy, or related field
- Experience with scenario planning frameworks (e.g., STEEP, Delphi method)
- Portfolio demonstrating human-centered design for speculative futures
- Fluency in data visualization tools for trend analysis and storytelling
