Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal trends to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026 market positioning
- Develop and implement enterprise-wide innovation frameworks that translate future insights into product roadmaps and strategic initiatives
- Lead horizon scanning processes, producing quarterly trend reports with actionable recommendations for executive leadership
- Facilitate design-thinking workshops with stakeholders to co-create future-state solutions and mitigate existential risks
- Establish KPIs for innovation maturity and track progress against 2026 strategic milestones
- Represent the company at global futurist forums and thought leadership platforms
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in innovation leadership, strategic planning, or futurist consulting with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of translating future scenarios into commercialized products or services
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Exceptional storytelling abilities with executive-level presentation skills
- Proficiency in innovation management tools (e.g., Trend Hunter, Gartner Hype Cycle)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation (articles, white papers, books)
