Responsibilities
- Develop and publish annual foresight reports on technological, economic, and societal trends impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Design innovation roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology convergence
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for executive stakeholders on future disruption risks
- Partner with product teams to integrate foresight insights into R&D pipelines
- Establish global trend-monitoring frameworks using proprietary data analytics
- Represent the company at premier future-tech conferences and thought leadership forums
- Mentor junior strategists in emerging methodologies like horizon scanning and weak signal detection
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field with 8+ years of strategic foresight experience
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial innovation at Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, quantum) and their societal implications
- Certification in Futures Methodology (e.g., WFS, APF) or equivalent practical application
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation capabilities
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed foresight journals or industry whitepapers
- Experience leading cross-cultural teams in distributed innovation environments
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-strategy implementations
