Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify disruptive trends impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop strategic frameworks for emerging technologies (quantum computing, neurotech, climate AI)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable innovation pipelines
- Author visionary white papers and scenario-planning models for executive decision-making
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-proofing into development lifecycles
- Represent company at global foresight forums and industry summits
- Mentor junior futurists and build foresight capabilities across the organization
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic innovation, consulting, or R&D with proven trend-forecasting impact
- Expertise in scenario planning, weak signal detection, and technology adoption curves
- Deep understanding of emerging tech domains (Web4, biotech convergence, autonomous systems)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in foresight or innovation publications
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., STEEP analysis, Delphi method, horizon scanning platforms)
