Responsibilities
- Develop 2026+ technology foresight frameworks through horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario modeling
- Lead strategic workshops with C-suite executives to translate future insights into innovation roadmaps
- Produce high-impact whitepapers on quantum-AI integration and human augmentation ethics
- Manage a portfolio of 5-7 emerging technology ventures across blockchain and neurotech sectors
- Represent the company at Davos, SXSW, and other future-focused global forums
- Mentor junior futurists in speculative design methodologies and systems thinking
- Build proprietary forecasting models using machine learning and big data analytics
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or Cognitive Science (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or top-tier industry publications
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Proven track record of influencing multi-billion dollar strategic decisions
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to communicate complex futures to diverse stakeholders
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from AC/FS or Shaping Tomorrow)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future scenarios successfully implemented
