Responsibilities
- Forecast technological, social, and economic trends through quantitative modeling and qualitative research
- Develop 5-year innovation roadmaps for Fortune 500 clients in AI, biotech, and sustainable tech
- Lead design thinking workshops with executive stakeholders to align vision with market readiness
- Author quarterly trend reports that influence $1B+ product development pipelines
- Manage a portfolio of experimental ventures from concept to prototype validation
- Represent the company at global futurist conferences and industry summits
- Mentor junior strategists in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in innovation strategy, consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of forecasting market shifts (include 2+ validated predictions)
- Expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI ethics
- Portfolio demonstrating trend analysis and innovation roadmaps
- Exceptional storytelling skills for communicating complex futures to diverse audiences
- Certification in futures methodologies (e.g., CFS, SFM)
- Experience with foresight tools: Delphi method, STEEP analysis, scenario planning
