Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year innovation roadmaps for 2026-2030 horizon
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, neurotech, synthetic biology) for disruptive potential
- Lead scenario planning workshops to model future market disruptions
- Partner with product teams to integrate foresight into development cycles
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and investor forums
- Build and manage a global network of futurists and academic collaborators
- Produce thought leadership content (whitepapers, keynotes) positioning Horizon Labs as a future-shaping authority
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused R&D
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts into market-ready innovations
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI, biotech, space, etc.)
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario modeling capabilities
- Strong quantitative and qualitative research methodologies mastery
- Experience presenting complex future concepts to non-technical executives
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Portfolio demonstrating published future-shaping work or patents
