Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 5-10 year innovation roadmaps using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and predictive analytics
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and launch disruptive products/services targeting 2026+ markets
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, government agencies, and technology pioneers
- Produce executive briefings and trend reports influencing $500M+ investment decisions
- Design and manage an AI-powered foresight platform tracking emerging technologies and societal shifts
- Mentor internal teams in future-thinking methodologies and innovation frameworks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, Technology Forecasting, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 8 years in strategic planning, R&D leadership, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic concepts (patents, launched products, or funded ventures)
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi methods, and systems thinking frameworks
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI) and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIP) preferred
