Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, biotech, climate tech) to identify disruptive opportunities and threats
- Develop 5-year innovation roadmaps aligning with organizational growth objectives
- Lead 'Future Labs' - immersive workshops to prototype next-gen solutions
- Establish KPI frameworks for measuring innovation ROI and adoption
- Partner with R&D to accelerate commercialization of breakthrough technologies
- Author thought leadership pieces for industry publications and conferences
- Mentor cross-functional teams in futures thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, R&D, or corporate innovation leadership
- Proven track record of launching market-defining products/services
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology, or Business required
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Innovation Management preferred
- Exceptional storytelling skills to translate complex futures into compelling narratives
- Experience scaling innovation frameworks in enterprise environments
