Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and translate insights into actionable strategic initiatives
- Develop 5-10 year innovation roadmaps aligned with market disruption vectors
- Lead scenario planning workshops for executive leadership and key stakeholders
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Produce thought leadership reports and predictive models for C-suite decision-making
- Oversee incubation of experimental projects with $5M+ innovation budget
- Champion ethical technology frameworks and sustainable innovation practices
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic innovation or technology foresight role at Fortune 500 or scale-up
- Published author or keynote speaker at global tech conferences (TED, Web Summit, etc.)
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi methodology, and trend impact analysis
- Portfolio of successfully implemented future-focused initiatives
- Proficiency in strategic foresight tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, STEEP)
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex future scenarios into business strategy
