Responsibilities
- Anticipate and map global technology trends for 2026-2030 through horizon scanning and predictive modeling
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with emerging markets and disruptive technologies
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable product development initiatives
- Establish quantitative frameworks for evaluating emerging technologies' market viability
- Present futuristic scenarios to C-suite and board members to influence strategic decisions
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academic researchers, and industry pioneers
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations on future technology trajectories
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or emerging technology research
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial products or services
- Expertise in AI/ML, quantum computing, or biotech convergence domains
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to communicate complex future scenarios to diverse audiences
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies and trend analysis tools
- Demonstrated success in influencing organizational strategy through foresight work
- Published research or patents in emerging technology fields preferred
