Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for emerging technologies and societal shifts through 2026+
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term market disruption forecasts
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions and validate market readiness
- Present strategic foresight frameworks to C-suite executives and board stakeholders
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Anticipate ethical implications of emerging technologies and design responsible innovation frameworks
- Lead workshops to cultivate strategic foresight capabilities across the organization
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field
- 8+ years experience in innovation strategy, product development, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of implementing successful future-focused initiatives
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience to executive audiences
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures Thinking (preferred)
- Portfolio demonstrating future-oriented projects or publications
