You'll work in our state-of-the-art innovation lab in downtown San Francisco, collaborating with C-suite executives and cross-functional teams to translate foresight into market advantage.
Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026 business landscapes
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for clients in AI, biotech, and climate adaptation sectors
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align executive teams on future-proofing initiatives
- Produce annual 'Future State' reports with quantifiable impact projections
- Manage innovation pipeline from ideation to pilot implementation
- Represent company at global foresight conferences and industry summits
- Mentor junior futurists and build internal foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or corporate strategy
- Proven track record of developing and implementing 5-year+ strategic roadmaps
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systems thinking
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and board-level stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in futures or strategy publications
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIP) preferred
