Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, quantum computing, biotech, and climate tech to inform 2026+ strategic initiatives
- Develop scenario-based roadmaps for product innovation and market expansion, ensuring alignment with long-term vision
- Collaborate with R&D to integrate emerging technologies into core product development pipelines
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders through compelling data narratives and visualizations
- Build and cultivate a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Champion a culture of innovation by facilitating cross-functional workshops on future possibilities
- Monitor geopolitical, economic, and social disruptors to proactively mitigate risks and capture opportunities
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, Technology Management, or related field (MBA/MSc preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology foresight roles
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies with deep knowledge of at least two of: AGI, synthetic biology, quantum computing, or decentralized systems
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Experience developing and implementing multi-year strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Strong communication skills with ability to articulate futuristic concepts to diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating scenario planning, trend analysis, or innovation strategy projects
