Responsibilities
- Develop and publish annual technology trend reports with 3-5 year forecasts
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for C-suite executives on disruptive innovations
- Design strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Partner with R&D teams to validate futuristic concepts through prototyping
- Establish innovation KPIs and track progress against 2026 strategic milestones
- Present foresight findings at industry conferences and board meetings
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal innovation incubator
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of developing long-term technology roadmaps
- Expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Strong network in emerging tech ecosystems (startups, VCs, research labs)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
- Experience with AI/ML tools for trend prediction and data modeling
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from APF or WFS)
