Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting our 2026 vision
- Develop and implement strategic innovation frameworks to accelerate R&D and market-first solutions
- Champion cross-functional collaboration between engineering, design, and business units to foster a culture of innovation
- Present future scenarios and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Oversee innovation pipeline management, from ideation to market launch of breakthrough products
- Build and lead a dedicated innovation lab focused on exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Establish key partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry disruptors
- Measure innovation ROI and continuously refine strategic approaches based on market feedback
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, futures research, or technology leadership with Fortune 500 or scale-up experience
- Proven track record of translating foresight into successful market innovations and revenue streams
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, biotech, quantum computing) and their societal implications
- Exceptional strategic planning skills with ability to articulate complex future scenarios to diverse audiences
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, Technology Management, or related field
- Published thought leadership in innovation, technology trends, or futurism (articles, books, keynotes)
- Experience building and scaling innovation labs or corporate ventures in fast-paced environments
- Mastery of foresight methodologies (scenario planning, Delphi, horizon scanning) and innovation frameworks
