Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and assess their commercial viability by 2026
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks to identify disruptive market opportunities and threats
- Produce annual 'Horizon Scans' detailing socio-economic shifts impacting global industries
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align organizational strategy with future trends
- Design scenario-planning models for 3-5 year business resilience strategies
- Partner with R&D to translate foresight into innovation pipelines and product roadmaps
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board committees
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Planning, Technology Management, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or corporate strategy roles
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and technology impact assessment
- Proficiency with foresight methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning, STEEP analysis)
- Strong data visualization skills (Tableau, Power BI) for communicating complex futures
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and influencing high-stakes decisions
- Deep understanding of emerging tech domains (AI, Web3, biotechnology)
- Certification in Futures Studies or Strategic Foresight preferred
