Responsibilities
- Analyze exponential technology trends (quantum computing, synthetic biology, neurotech) and forecast market impacts through 2030
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for global disruptions in climate resilience and human augmentation
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into product roadmaps and investment priorities
- Author quarterly trend briefings for executive board and investor relations
- Establish partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and other future-focused institutions
- Design ethical guardrails for emerging technologies to ensure responsible innovation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in strategic foresight at Fortune 500 or hypergrowth tech firms
- Published thought leadership on technological singularity or climate adaptation
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning, STEEP analysis)
- Deep understanding of exponential growth curves and S-curves
- Portfolio demonstrating trend-to-strategy translation for $1B+ initiatives
- Experience with blockchain, AI governance, or carbon capture technologies
