Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic foresight frameworks using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities in AI, biotech, and circular economies
- Produce executive briefings and whitepapers on emerging technologies and societal shifts
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-focused solutions for 2026 market readiness
- Establish KPIs to track strategic adoption and measure impact on innovation pipelines
- Represent the company at global futurist forums and thought leadership summits
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategy consulting, innovation, or corporate foresight with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven expertise in systems thinking, complex adaptive systems modeling, and trend forecasting
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-state strategy implementation (2020-2025 case studies)
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFMP from Association of Professional Futurists)
- Exceptional communication skills translating technical concepts to executive audiences
