Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts through 2030
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for disruptive industry transformations
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable business strategies
- Produce annual 'Future State' reports for executive stakeholders and board members
- Partner with product teams to embed future-ready principles into innovation pipelines
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and thought leaders
- Advise on ethical implications of emerging technologies and societal adaptation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or scenario-planning projects
- Expertise in systems thinking, trend analysis, and pattern recognition
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP, cross-impact analysis)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Deep understanding of AI, biotech, climate tech, and geopolitical disruption vectors
- Track record of influencing corporate strategy through future-oriented insights
