Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 technology foresight framework using predictive analytics and scenario modeling
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize insights from biotech, AI, and climate science domains
- Produce quarterly 'Horizon Scan' reports for executive stakeholders and board members
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype solutions addressing 2026 societal challenges
- Establish partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and other futurist institutions
- Present strategic roadmaps at industry conferences and thought leadership summits
- Mentor junior futurists while maintaining cutting-edge research in exponential technologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and probabilistic forecasting methodologies
- Deep knowledge of 2020s emerging technologies: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI
- Exceptional communication skills with experience presenting to C-suite audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or patented innovation frameworks
- Fluency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
