This role blends predictive analytics, human-centric design, and exponential technologies to solve humanity's next grand challenges. You'll collaborate with quantum computing researchers, neurotech pioneers, and sustainable systems architects while shaping how 5 billion+ people interact with the future.
Our compensation package includes equity, unlimited PTO, and a $20k annual innovation budget. Work from our SF waterfront campus or remotely with quarterly offsites in Tokyo, Dubai, and Reykjavik.
Responsibilities
- Develop 2026-2030 strategic foresight frameworks using AI-driven scenario modeling
- Lead cross-functional sprints with robotics, biotech, and climate adaptation teams
- Translate exponential tech trends (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology) into actionable roadmaps
- Design human-AI collaboration protocols for next-generation workplaces
- Present futurescape reports to C-suite and government innovation councils
- Curate annual 'Future Horizons' global innovation summit
- Mentor emerging futurists through our Quantum Leap Fellowship program
Qualifications
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused R&D
- Published work in peer-reviewed futures studies journals (e.g., Futures, Technological Forecasting)
- Expertise in systems thinking, scenario planning, and exponential technology assessment
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ commercialized future-vision projects
- Advanced certification in Foresight Methodologies (ACF or MF) preferred
- Fluency in at least one predictive modeling language (Python/R) required
- Experience advising Fortune 500 or national governments on transformational strategy
