Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech) to identify disruptive opportunities and threats
- Develop 5-10 year strategic technology roadmaps aligned with market evolution
- Lead cross-functional workshops to forecast industry shifts and competitive landscapes
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-tech innovations into current development cycles
- Author thought leadership content and present findings to executive stakeholders
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Monitor global policy and ethical frameworks impacting technological adoption
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology, Computer Science, or Strategic Innovation (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or emerging tech analysis
- Proven track record in forecasting technology trends with measurable impact
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data
- Executive-level communication and stakeholder management experience
- Published research or speaking engagements at tech conferences
- Experience with scenario planning and strategic foresight methodologies
