Responsibilities

- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across biotech, nanotech, and space exploration sectors
- Secure $5M+ in innovation grants through compelling future-tech proposals
- Mentor junior futurists in emerging tech methodologies and speculative design thinking
- Present breakthrough concepts to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or Futurist Studies (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in R&D leadership at FAANG or equivalent innovation-driven organization
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, ACM) on exponential technologies
- Expertise in at least three emerging domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- Proven track record of launching commercialized future-tech products
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of ethical AI frameworks and sustainable development principles
- Exceptional public speaking skills with 50+ conference presentations
