Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-5 year technology foresight strategies aligned with market trends
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (AR/VR, quantum applications)
- Produce annual 'Future Tech' reports for executive board and investors
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Advise product teams on ethical AI implementation and regulatory compliance
- Represent company at global tech summits and policy forums
- Mentor junior futurists and build internal innovation culture
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Published thought leadership on emerging tech trends (IEEE, ACM, or similar)
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, bio-integrated tech
- Experience leading multi-million dollar R&D initiatives
- Certification in Futures Research (e.g., from World Future Society)
- Portfolio demonstrating technology forecasting accuracy
