Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) to develop strategic roadmaps for 2026-2030
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities and innovation gaps
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-facing technologies into core offerings
- Produce predictive market analyses and scenario-planning frameworks for executive decision-making
- Represent the company at global tech forums and shape industry thought leadership
- Develop patent strategies for emerging technologies and secure competitive IP portfolios
- Mentor R&D teams on future-proofing methodologies and long-term vision alignment
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, technology consulting, or futurist research
- Proven track record of forecasting tech trends with documented accuracy
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Futures Studies, or MBA with tech specialization
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (e.g., AGI, neuromorphic computing)
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario-planning capabilities using advanced analytics tools
- Published thought leadership in reputable tech or foresight publications
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies on digital transformation strategy
- Fluency in future forecasting methodologies (Delphi, Horizon scanning, etc.)
