Responsibilities
- Anticipate and analyze emerging technology trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) with 5-year strategic implications
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections and organizational goals
- Lead scenario planning workshops for potential futures, including risk assessment and opportunity identification
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate next-generation solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Monitor global innovation ecosystems and competitive landscapes
- Establish KPIs for measuring long-term technological impact and ROI
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation leadership roles
- Proven track record of forecasting technology trends with documented accuracy
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI, blockchain, AR/VR, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Technology, Business, or related field
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Experience developing multi-year strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Strong presentation skills with executive-level communication expertise
- Certification in Futures Studies or Strategic Foresight preferred
