Responsibilities
- Develop 3-year technology foresight strategies aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, neurotech, climate AI) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future scenarios into actionable product roadmaps
- Collaborate with R&D to prototype next-gen solutions for 2026 market readiness
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Build competitive intelligence reports on global tech innovation ecosystems
- Mentor junior futurists in trend analysis and scenario planning methodologies
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic tech planning, product management, or innovation consulting
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum/AI/biotech/climate tech)
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial roadmaps
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Futures Studies, or MBA
- Strong proficiency in scenario planning frameworks (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive-level experience
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation or foresight journals
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., from APF or Foresight Network)
