Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps for quantum computing and AI integration
- Analyze emerging tech trends (neuromorphic chips, decentralized AI) to identify market opportunities
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping 2026-viable solutions
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Present futuristic technology forecasts to C-suite executives and investors
- Drive innovation in sustainable tech and climate-positive engineering
- Mentor junior researchers in emerging technology methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurist Studies (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years in strategic tech planning with 5+ in emerging technologies
- Proven track record in launching quantum/AI initiatives at scale
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology impact assessment
- Deep understanding of ethical AI frameworks and regulatory landscapes
- Published thought leadership in tech journals (e.g., Nature Futures)
- Experience with venture capital technology due diligence processes
