Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuro-interfaces, AI ethics) to inform 2026+ strategic plans
- Develop future-state technology roadmaps and innovation frameworks with measurable KPIs
- Lead cross-functional 'Horizon Scanning' workshops to identify disruptive opportunities
- Translate future trends into actionable product development strategies for engineering teams
- Present visionary insights to stakeholders through compelling data visualizations and scenario modeling
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators for early-stage innovation
- Mentor junior strategists in future-proofing methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented tech roadmaps
- Expertise in emerging technologies: AI, quantum computing, biotech convergence, or Web3
- Strong analytical skills with ability to model complex future scenarios
- Certification in Foresight Methodologies (e.g., CFM) or equivalent experience
- Experience presenting to executive boards and board-level stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in technology futurism (whitepapers, patents, or keynotes)
- Advanced degree in Technology, Business, or Futures Studies preferred
