Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026 technology foresight framework using predictive analytics, trend mapping, and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech integration) with 2026 market viability
- Produce quarterly strategic briefings for executive leadership on disruptive forces reshaping the 2026 technological landscape
- Design and implement innovation pipelines for next-generation products/services targeting 2025-2026 launch windows
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, research labs, and think tanks focused on long-term technology forecasting
- Monitor global policy/regulatory shifts affecting technological adoption in the 2026 timeframe
- Champion human-centered design principles in all future technology roadmaps
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, Computer Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years experience in technology strategy, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record developing multi-year technology roadmaps with 5+ year horizons
- Expertise in scenario planning methodologies and trend analysis tools (e.g., Delphi method, horizon scanning)
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum, Web3, biotech) and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex future concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or strategic frameworks
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., Association of Professional Futurists) preferred
