Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in cold storage zones
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and refrigeration systems following OSHA protocols
- Inspect and document inventory using WMS systems to ensure FIFO compliance
- Sanitize equipment and facilities per FDA food safety standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient loading/unloading operations
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety hazards immediately
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year cold storage or warehouse experience
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and inventory management skills
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
