Responsibilities
- Operate refrigerated warehouse equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks in sub-zero environments
- Maintain strict temperature controls (-10°F to 40°F) for diverse product inventories
- Execute FIFO inventory rotation and stock rotation protocols
- Conduct routine facility inspections and report equipment malfunctions
- Adhere to OSHA and FDA safety standards for cold storage operations
- Coordinate with quality control teams for product integrity verification
- Utilize warehouse management systems for inventory tracking
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years cold storage or refrigerated warehouse experience
- Valid forklift certification and powered industrial equipment proficiency
- Ability to work in temperatures as low as -10°F for extended periods
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Strong attention to detail and inventory management skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
