Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move refrigerated products safely and efficiently
- Maintain optimal temperature and humidity levels in cold storage areas
- Conduct inventory counts and manage stock rotation using FIFO methods
- Adhere to strict sanitation and safety protocols for food-grade environments
- Perform equipment maintenance checks and report operational issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless warehouse operations
- Document inventory movements and temperature logs using digital systems
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- OSHA Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in temperatures below 32°F for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and inventory management skills
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
