Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in temperature-controlled environments (-10°F to 40°F)
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Inspect and monitor refrigeration equipment for optimal performance
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols at all times
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks and organize products in storage zones
- Perform routine sanitation and cleaning of storage areas
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet delivery deadlines
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of cold storage or warehouse experience required
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance awareness
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for 4-6 hour shifts
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- High school diploma or equivalent required
