Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and stack merchandise onto pallets using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and maintain accurate stock records.
- Ensure all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines are strictly followed in cold storage environments.
- Package and label items according to company standards and shipping requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to prevent accidents and spoilage.
- Assist in temperature monitoring and reporting any equipment malfunctions.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or cold storage is highly preferred.
- Valid forklift certification (certification provided if no experience).
- Ability to work in extreme cold temperatures (below freezing) for extended periods.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
