Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport palletized inventory within the cold storage facility using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Monitor and maintain accurate temperature logs to ensure product integrity and regulatory compliance.
- Sort, organize, and label products to ensure efficient stock retrieval and order accuracy.
- Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners to track inventory movements.
- Perform daily safety inspections of equipment and work areas to prevent accidents.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production goals and shipping deadlines.
- Adhere to all safety protocols regarding personal protective equipment (PPE) and extreme cold handling.
Qualifications
- Ability to work in extreme cold environments (temperatures ranging from -10°F to 40°F).
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly and standing for long shifts.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and order picking accuracy.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the Philadelphia facility.
- Forklift certification (preferred but not mandatory).
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety.
