Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain cold storage temperatures (-10°F to 40°F) using digital control systems
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to organize and rotate inventory efficiently
- Conduct quality checks on perishable goods and report discrepancies immediately
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols in temperature-controlled environments
- Assist with loading/unloading shipments using refrigerated transport vehicles
- Maintain accurate inventory records via warehouse management software
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily production targets
Qualifications
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods (4-8 hour shifts)
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain company-sponsored training
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand/walk for 8+ hours
