Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move materials within 50,000 sq ft warehouse
- Perform daily equipment inspections and preventive maintenance checks
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to optimize inventory flow and loading schedules
- Maintain accurate digital and physical inventory records using WMS systems
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and company quality standards
- Train junior operators on equipment operation and safety procedures
- Assist in warehouse layout optimization and process improvements
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- 2+ years experience operating sit-down/stand-up forklifts in warehouse environments
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Basic proficiency with inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Clean MVR and ability to pass background/drug screening
- Forklift Safety Training certification (CET preferred)
- Experience with high-value electronics handling preferred
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance mindset
