Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in high-volume warehouse environments
- Safely load/untractors and palletize materials up to 10,000 lbs
- Maintain accurate inventory counts using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and company protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient material flow
- Perform daily equipment inspections and preventive maintenance
- Train new operators on safety procedures and equipment usage
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent forklift operation experience
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and work in temperature-controlled environments
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
