Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down/stand-up forklifts to move, stack, and organize palletized materials
- Execute inventory control procedures with WMS system accuracy
- Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
- Maintain OSHA compliance standards in all warehouse activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Train junior operators on safety protocols and equipment operation
- Document all material movements and inventory discrepancies
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (current and verifiable)
- 3+ years of industrial forklift operation experience
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk 8+ hours
- Proficient in inventory management systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Forklift endorsements (Class 1-5) and hazardous materials handling preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills and safety-conscious mindset
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification a plus
