Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts with precision in warehouse and dock environments
- Manage inventory with RF scanners and maintain accurate stock records
- Ensure OSHA compliance through rigorous safety protocols and equipment inspections
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for efficient loading/unloading of high-value shipments
- Optimize warehouse layout for maximum space utilization and operational efficiency
- Maintain detailed logs for equipment usage and material handling activities
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification with 2+ years of recent industrial experience
- Proven ability to operate multiple forklift types (sit-down, reach truck, order picker)
- Forklift safety training and commitment to zero-accident standards
- Strong inventory management skills with RF scanner proficiency
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in varying temperature conditions
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Valid Florida driver's license preferred
